Pastoral Support
Pastoral support is everything we do in school to ensure the physical and emotional welfare needs of the children in our care are met. At Worple Primary we want everyone involved with our school to feel well supported. We believe that good pastoral support focuses on nurturing the individual needs of each child. We aim to build trusting and empathic relationships with all our pupils and their families.
Pastoral support is available to all our families and is overseen by our Pastoral Manager, Mrs. Carlie Pennington.
All our staff model to children how to look after themselves and others; encouraging them to seek help, support or advice whenever they need it.
Pastoral care underpins personal development and we know from experience that with outstanding pastoral care, children feel they belong and their self-esteem is able to flourish because they feel valued and cared for.
If you would like further information on how we can support your child please telephone the school office or email through the school office and mark for the attention of Mrs Pennington. Alternatively you can make an appointment to see her through the school office. Mrs Pennington will also be able to offer additional support, links to external professionals, or just be there to listen and reassure.
